Welcome to the PhilGEPS, your window to the Philippine Government's Electronic Procurement activities. This system was launched by the Procurement Service, Department of Budget and Management to address the lack of transparency in government procurement, is supported by the E-Commerce Act of 2000 (R.A.8792), and in compliance with the mandate of the Government Procurement Reform Act ( RA 9184).

After more than five years of operations, we are proud to offer a better and more responsive service more attuned to the needs of government. More features and enhancements were added which were drawn from our experience in implementing the pilot EPS. Through this site, government agencies at all levels are provided an avenue to advertise their procurement requirements for goods, civil works and consulting services to a wider network of suppliers at practically no cost. Suppliers from any location can conveniently check what the Philippine government is buying. They can also take advantage of the system's Bid Matching feature and be automatically notified of bids and their associated supplements. Hopefully, the institutionalization of the Government Electronic Procurement System as the core information center for government procurement will result not only in a more transparent procurement process, increased efficiency, less newspaper advertising costs but also in the prompt delivery of basic services.
