Description   Republic of the Philippines DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION Region III SCHOOLS DIVISION OF AURORA San Luis, Aurora 3201 Philippines Invitation to Bid for REPAIR/REHAB OF SCHOOL BUILDING AT LABOY ES 1.The Department of Education-Schools Division of Aurora Bids and Awards Committee, through the 2024 GAA Basic Education Facilities Fund (BEFF), intends to apply the sum of One Million One Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos Only (P1,150,000.00) under the contract for the Repair/Rehab of School Building at Zarah ES and Project Identification Number 2024-06-251. Lot Recipient School Scope of Work Contract Duration Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) 1 Laboy ES REPAIR/REHAB OF SCHOOL BUILDING AT LABOY ES 45 CD P1,150,000.00 Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2.The Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required shown in the table above in Contract Duration Column. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders). 3.Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184. 4.Interested bidders may obtain further information from Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 5.For those who are interested to purchase Bidding Documents, two (2) options are made available, to wit: a.A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders during office hours starting July 12, 2024 until the deadline of submission of bids on August 1, 2024 from the Department of Education, Schools Division of Aurora, Bids and Awards Committee Secretariat, upon accomplishing a bidder’s Information sheet (see attached) and payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents to the DepEd Cashier amounting to P5,000. Upon payment, bidders must email the proof of payment before the deadline for submitting bids. The BAC Secretariat will send the electronic copy of the bidding documents upon receipt of proof of payment. Payment in checks should be made payable to DepED Aurora Trust Fund. e.The Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee will hold a Pre-Bid Conference[ May be deleted in case the ABC is less than One Million Pesos (PhP1,000,000) where the Procuring Entity may not hold a pre-bid conference. ] on July 20, 2024, at @9:00am at the BAC Office and/or through videoconferencing/webcasting via Google Meet, which shall be open to prospective bidders. f.Bids for the current Infrastructure Projects duly received by the BAC Secretariat through manual submission at the office address indicated below, on or before August 1, 2024 @ @9:00am. Late bids shall not be accepted. g.All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 16. h.Bid opening shall be on August 1, 2024, @ 9:30 am at the BAC Office.
